how much street there is to go around.
Curb length counts only lanes NYC DOT records as parking lanes, less
15 ft per hydrant. It does not deduct driveways or bus stops, so treat
it as an upper bound.
About
Alternate Side Parking (ASP) requires you to move your car during
street sweeping hours. Signs say "No Parking" with a broom symbol,
specifying days and times. NYC suspends ASP on major holidays.
This tool uses official NYC DOT sign data (56,000+ street segments)
and MTA subway station data (496 stations) to find optimal parking.
It estimates transit time from each parking spot to your destinations
using walking + subway routing.
Tip: Set a larger search radius and slide toward "Less transit"
to find spots further away but with great subway connections.
